Barbara Weintraub

Ms. Weintraub has over 30 years’ experience in emergency care, with experience in both Level 1 and Level 2 EDs. She has achieved success at all levels, from Emergency Medical Technician to Clinical Nurse Specialist to Director. Ms. Weintraub has authored many articles on topics in emergency care, and is an oft-sought out lecturer on care of the pediatric patient in the ED, improving ED throughput, and many other topics. Ms. Weintraub was honored to be selected as a fellow of the Academy of Emergency Nursing based on her lifetime achievements in emergency care. She lives in the Chicago area and is a proud Northwestern University, Rush, and University of Illinois at Chicago Alumnae.
